Active equalizer:

This function can be used in a single way or compatible with any brand of BMS which is suitable for LIFEPO4 or Lithium Ion battery packs.

Working principle:

Working principle balanced by energy transfer which is high efficiency low energy and low heat. Ensure battery extended battery life. Balance current 0.1-1A and voltage equalization efficiency is 0.01 volt.

24/7 Equalization:

It is not limited by battery charging, discharging and static and sleep mode etc. The 16S in active balancer means this balancer have to use 16 cells for balancing. We will learn about this bms by an example. For example you have made a 16S 48v 100a battery. You have used 16 cells for making battery. Every cell has 3.2 volt. Some has slightly different voltages. For balancing the voltage of each cell you have to use 16S 1A Active Balancer. This is the main and major function of the active balancer. I purchased a Daly BMS from Amazon years ago. My system is 16S/48v LifePO4 (300ah). I have had several batteries go bad over the years because they are improperly balanced. While Daly has “Balancing” on their BMS it’s not active balancing. Even with daily charging and discharging the built-in function on the BMS is insufficient to maintain battery health. This has cost me over $1000 in battery failures.

After installing the Smart equalizer the system is now balancing nicely even with the larger batteries.

I initially had a few issues which was largely due to the lack of documentation. Fortunately, there are some end-user videos on YouTube. My balancer appeared to be DEAD. There are other 1-star reviews claiming the same. Probably those units were just fine. The system has one LED that only comes on when actively balancing. The default for active balancing startup is at 3.0v. This means ALL of your batteries must be 3v or higher to start balancing. I had one battery that was just under 3v.
